Wow.
Hakstol in 11 seasons at UND: 289-143-43 (654 winning%), never missed NCAA tournament, reached Frozen Four 7 times, coached Toews and Oshie among others. In 2014-15, he led North Dakota to a 29-10-3 record with a .726 winning percentage and a berth in the NCAA Frozen Four.
Toto vypadá velice dobře.
A dost možná Hakstol bude chtít nové asistenty. No, odchod takovýho Murphyho bych uvítal teda.
That’s a stunning move by the Flyers. Dave Hakstol is a good one though.
Hakstol’s program produced 20 NHL players & a total of 46 that have played professionally.
Former players include Jonathan Toews (CHI) & Matt Greene (LAK) (each of whom have won 2 Stanley Cups), as well as T.J. Oshie (STL), Travis Zajac (NJD), Brock Nelson (NYI), Drew Stafford (BUF, WPG) & Chris VandeVelde (EDM, PHI).
Jinak teprve 46 let, ano! Toto jsem chtěl, mladýho kouče. Nová éra může začít!
Tady mi v obličeji připomíná mladšího Babcocka, nemůžu si pomoct.
Good Luck, Dave!

EDIT: Nějaké komentáře od žurnalistky, co se věnuje NCAA.
Absolutely bombarded by questions about Dave Hakstol...In short, his players love him and gets the best out of his team year in and year out. Hakstol doesn't demand respect, he earns it through the way he treats his players to the meticulous way he prepares. He's a true pro.
A od ostatních...
Nice move by Hexy. Instead of hiring a recycled coach, he gets a fresh approach and gives the team a much-needed new identity.
Not a flyers fan, but I've watched a lot of UND hockey the past 10 years or so and you guys are getting a very good coach. Good hockey mind who's very good with younger players and teaching the game. I had him in the back of my mind for the Sabres, but didn't really think he was coming to the NHL. It's a under the radar, but very solid hire
He plays a more up tempo, puck possession style play. But he's shown the ability to adjust to his team. UND hasn't had the level of players the past couple years then they did when parise, toews, stafford, oshie etc were coming through.
Last couple years they've stressed puck possession and a more physical style. And he's a very fiery coach.
PUCK POSSESSION!
